Surah Yasin is the 36th surah (chapter) oftheHoly Quran. It has 83 ayahs and is one of the Meccansurahs,although some scholars maintain that verse 12 is from theMedinanperiod. The surah focuses on establishing the Qur'an as adivinesource, and it warns of the fate of those that mockGod'srevelations and are stubborn. The surah tells of thepunishmentsthat plagued past generations of nonbelievers as awarning topresent and future generations. Additionally, the surahreiteratesGod's sovereignty as exemplified by His creations throughsignsfrom nature.1. Reading it when you wake up may invoke Allah to fulfill allyourneeds for that day.Hadhrat ‘Ataa’ bin Abi Ribaah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) says thattheProphet Mohamed (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) reportedly hassaid,“Whoever reads Surah Yaseen at the beginning of the day — allhisneeds for that day will be fulfilled.”2. It's the equivalent of reading the whole Quran 10 times.“Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Glorious QuranisSurah Yaseen. Whoever reads Surah Yaseen, Allah records for themareward equal to that of reading the whole Quran 10 times.” —Maqal,Tirmidhi 2812/A and Dhahabi3. Memorization will invoke the blessings of Allah.It has been said that Allah recited Surah Yaseen and Surah Tahafora thousand years before the creation of Heaven and Earth.Uponhearing this, the angels said, “Blessing is for the Ummah untowhomthe Quran will be sent down. Blessing is for the hearts thatwillmemorize it, and blessing is for the tongues that willreciteit.”4. It invokes the mercy of Allah to forgive your sins.“Whoever reads Surah Yaseen for the pleasure of Allah only, allhisearlier sins are forgiven. Therefore, make a practice ofreadingthis Surah over your dead.”5. It benefits the reader in this life, as well as intheHereafter.According to one hadith, Surah Yaseen is named in the Torahas“Mun’imah” in other words: "Giver of Good Things." This isbecauseit contains benefits to both the reader in this world andthe next.It removes the afflictions of this world and the next.Surah Yaseenalso takes away the dread of the next life. Hashiya ofTafsirJalalalayn, pg 368.6. It will exalt the status of the believers, both in this worldandthe next.Surah Yaseen is also known as “Raafi’ah Khaafidhah.” In otherwords,that which exalts the status of the believers and degradestheunbelievers. According to a riwayat, Prophet Mohamed(SallallahuAlaihi Wasallam) said, “My heart desires that SurahYaseen should bepresent in the heart of every one of my ummah.”So, make sure youmemorize Surah Yaseen in order to reap itsbenefits.According to one hadith, if anyone recites Surah Yaseen everynightand then dies, they will die as a shaheed (a martyr).8. It wipes out your sins, alleviates hunger, and guidesthelost.“Whoever reads Surah Yaseen is forgiven; whoever reads it inhungeris satisfied; whoever reads it having lost their way, findstheirway; whoever reads it on losing an animal, finds it. When onereadsit while addressing the fact that that their food will runshort,that food will then become sufficient. If one reads it whilebesidesomeone who is in the throes of death, then that process ismademore smoothly for them. If anyone reads it on a woman whoisexperiencing difficulty in childbirth, her delivery willthenbecome easy. ”9. It abolishes fear from your heart.Maqri (Rahmatullah Alaihi) said, “If Surah Yaseen is read by onewhofears the ruler or an enemy, one gets rid of this fear.”10. It will lead to your prayers being heard.According to one hadith, if somebody reads Surah Yaseen andSurahWas-Saaffaat on Friday and begs Allah for something, thentheirprayer is granted.11. Reading it at night will forgive your sins.The Prophet said, "Whoever recited Surah Yasin in the nightseekingAllah’s pleasure, Allah would forgive him." درود تنجینا سے مراد وہ درود شریف ہے جسےپڑھنےسے ہر مشکل مہم آسان ہو جاتی ہے۔ علامہ فاکہانی نے قمر منیر میںایکبزرگ شیخ موسٰی کا واقعہ بیان کیا ہے کہ انہوں نے بتایا کہ ہمایکقافلے کے ساتھ ایک بحری جہاز میں سفر کر رہے تھے کہ جہاز طوفان کیزدمیں آ گیا۔ یہ طوفان قہرِ خداوندی بن کر جہاز کو ہلانے لگا۔ ہملوگیقین کر بیٹھے کہ جہاز ڈوبنے والا ہے اور ہم مر جائیں گےکیونکہملاحوں نے بھی یہ سمجھ لیا تھا کہ اتنے تند و تیز طوفان سے کوئیقسمتوالا جہاز ہی بچ سکتا ہے۔شیخ فرماتے ہیں کہ اس علام افراتفری میں مجھ پر نیند کا غلبہ ہوگیاچند لمحے غنودگی طاری ہوئی میں نے دیکھا کہ سرکارِ دو عالم حضورصلیاللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے اور مجھے حکم دیا کہ تم اور تمہارےساتھییہ درود شریف ہزار بار پڑھو۔ میں بیدار ہوا۔ اپنے دوستوں کو جمعکیااور وضو کر کے درود شریف پڑھنا شروع کر دیا۔ ابھی تین سو بار ہیپڑھاتھا کہ طوفان کا زور کم ہونے لگا۔ آہستہ آہستہ طوفان رُک گیااورتھوڑے ہی وقت میں آسمان صاف ہو گیا اور سمندر کی سطح پُر امن ہوگئی۔اس درود پاک کی برکت سے تمام جہاز والوں کو نجات مل گئی۔اس درود پاک کا نام درود تنجی یا تنجینا رکھا گیا۔ جناب غوث الاعظمنےفرمایا کہ ایک شخص نہایت مشکل میں پھنس گیا۔ اسنے باوضو اور معطرہوکر یہ درود پڑھنا شروع کیا تو مشکل حل ہو گئی۔ جو شخص اس درود پاککوادب و احترام سے قبلہ رو ہو کر ہر روز تین سو بار پڑھے گا اللہ کےفضلسے اس کی سخت سے سخت مشکل حل ہو جائے گی۔شرح دلائل الخیرات کے مؤلف نے لکھا ہے کہ جسے نبی صلی اللہ علیہوسلمکی زیارت کا شوق ہو وہ خالص نیت سے یہ درود پڑھے اور بعد نمازعشاءایک ہزار بار پورا کرے اور بستر کو معطر کر کے باوضو ہی سوجائےانشاءاللہ 40 روز کے اندر اندر ہی زیارت رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنصیبہو گی۔ اور اللہ کرم کرے تو ہو سکتا ہے ایک ہفتے کے اندر اندرہیزیارت نصیب ہو جائے۔ایک بزرگ کا کہنا ہے کہ جو شخص اس درود پاک کو صبح و شام دس دسبارپڑھے تو اللہ تعالٰی اس سے راضی ہو جائے گا اور اللہ کے قہر سےنجاتملے گی۔ اللہ اسے برائیوں سے محفوظ رکھے گا۔ اسکے غم مٹجائیںگے۔اس درود پاک کی ایک خصوصیت یہ بھی ہے کہ جو شخص بیماری سے تنگ آکرطبیبوں اور ڈاکٹروں سے مایوس ہو گیا ہو اسے چاہیئے کہ اس درود پاککوکثرت سے پڑھے انشاءاللہ بیماری کی تکلیف سے نجات ملے گی۔
