[Surah Anbiya 21:18]• So falsehood is trying to run away from the truth, while thetruth is attacking because of its greater strength. Then the skullof falsehood is smashed (and that is the strongest bone in thebody).• Similarly; the hypocrites and people of the Book would believe inpart of the Revelation and reject other parts – yet truth andfalsehood can never unite as one. So their falsehood wasexposed.

Surah al-Hujuraat The Chambers 1.0
This Surah was revealed in Madinah and it has18 ayaat. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (S) that the rewardfor reciting this Surah can be compared to ten times the number ofbelievers and disbelievers on Earth.Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq has narrated that those who recite thisSurah will be counted from among those who visited the Holy Prophet(S). Writing this Surah and keeping it in one’s possession makesthe Shaitan run away and acts as a protection in times of war andunrest. If a pregnant woman drinks water in which this Surah hasbeen dissolved, then both herself and her child will remain safefrom danger and drinking this water also increases breast-milk in abreastfeeding mother.

Hazrat Jibreel AlaihiSalaam said that in addition to a lot of Fadhaail [favors] inthis• Firstly, Allah (SWT) gives him rizq [livelihood] from the ghayb[unknown sources], secondly, He will safe from evil eye and evilspells and thirdly, whoever recites this Dua' his enemies will notbe able to overcome him. He will be superior to them.• The person who does jihad will have the upper hand. He goes on ajourney, he will come back with all his things. He will be safefrom the shaat of shaytaan. He will be safe from all the bad thingsand insects and other things on earth and al the bad things in theskies.• If a person writes this Dua' out and drinks it using rainwater, he will get help for various diseases. If a person suffersfrom an unknown illness for which the worldly doctors can find nocure and he writes it with Zafran [saffron] and washes it anddrinks it for twenty one (21) days he will get health. When passion streaming from the heart turns human lips to lyres,Some magic wings man’s music then, his song with soul inspires; Thetwo poems were written in 1909 and 1913 respectively. Shikwa,consisting of 31 stanzas, was presented by Iqbal in April 1911 tothe annual session of Anjuman Himayat-i Islam held at IslamiaCollege, Lahore. Jawab-e-Shikwa consists of 36 stanzas which Iqbalrecited at a public gathering in 1913 outside Mochi Gate, Lahore.According to Professor Baqa, “when Iqbal saw the achievements inthe West he had the burning desire to revolutionise the lives ofhis own countrymen.” When he emphasised knowing the ‘self’, he didnot want us to glorify the self, nor kill it, said the professor.Rather, he wanted us to be self-aware so that we can perfect ourown personalities and benefit society as a whole. “He wanted tocreate unique human beings”.

It is reported on the authority of IbnMas'udfrom Rasoolillah (SAW) that he said: "Whoever recited thelast twoverses of suratul baqarah at night, they will be sufficientforhim." [Bukhari]2. It is reported on the authority of Abu Dharr that hesaid:"Allah's Messenger (SAW) said": "I was given the final versesofSurath Al-Baqarah from a treasure trove beneath the Throne;noProphet before me was given them." (Ahmad)3. On the authority of 'Abdullah, it is reported that:"WhenAllah's Messenger (SAW) was taken on a nocturnal journey (totheseven heavens), he arrived at Sidrat al-Muntaha- a tree intheseventh Heaven and it is at the entrance to the seventh. Allthingswhich ascend from the earth stop and are held there as doallthings which descend from above (It is with regard tothisthat).Allah (SWT) said: "Behold! the Lote tree was shrouded withthatwhich shrouds." (Qur'an 53: 16) He (the narrator) said: "It(thatwhich shrouded the tree) was (a covering of) goldenbutterflies."He further added: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) wasgiven threethings: He was given five prayers, he was given theconcludingverses of Surat Al-Baqarah and forgiveness of sins forthose (ofhis community) who do not associate partners with Allah(SWT)."(Muslim)4. It is reported from 'Uqbah Ibn 'Amir Al-Juhani (RA) thathesaid that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: "Recite the last twoversesfrom Surat Al-Baqarah, for I was given them from a treasuretrovebeneath the Throne" (Ahmad)5. It is reported on the authority of Hudhaifah thatAllah'sMessenger (SAW) said: "We have been favoured over the restofmankind with three things: I was given these verses from the endofSurat Al- Baqarah from a house of treasure located beneaththeThrone: None before me has been given them, and they will notbegiven to anyone after me." (Narrated by Ibn Mardawaih)6. It is reported on the authority of 'Ali (RA) that he said:"Ido not consider it fitting for anyone who has understood Islamtosleep (at night) until he has recited AyatAl- Kursi-and theendingof Surat Al-Baqarah, for they are a gift to your Prophet(SAW) fromthe treasure which lies beneath the Throne." (Narrated byIbnMardawaih)7. It is reported on the authority of An-Nu'man Ibn Basheerfromthe Prophet (SAW) that he said: "Verily, Allah (SWT)wrotesomething two thousand years before He created the heavens andtheearth, then He (SWT) sent down from it two verses with whichHe(SWT) sealed (ended) Surat Al-Baqarah (the cow), and if theyarenot recited in any house for three nights, Satanapproachesit."(Al-Hakim narrated it thus, and declared it authentic inaccordancewith the conditions of acceptance applied by Muslim)8. It is reported from Sa'eed and Ibn 'Abbas that they saidthatthe Messenger of Allah SAW used to laugh when he read thelastverses of Surat Al Baqarah and Ayat Al- Kursi and he wouldsay:"Verily, they are both from the treasure of Allah (SWT), whichliesbeneath the Throne." And when he recited: "Whoever does evilwillbe recompensed accordingly." (Qur'an 4: 123)And: (And that man will have nothing except what he strivesforand that [the fruit of] his striving will be seen, then will heberewarded with a reward complete.) (Qur'an 53: 39-41), then hewouldsit back, at ease." (Narrated by Ibn Mardawaih)

Abu Bakr was of a contemplative bent of mind. He often expressedhis thoughts in words that were conspicuous because of theirwisdom. A number of his sayings have come down to us, and theseshow the depth and dimension of his thought and philosophy. Hereare some of the sayings of Abu Bakr that have assumed the characterof a proverb. Greatness About greatness, Abu Bakar said: Run awayfrom greatness and greatness will follow you. There is greatness inthe fear of God, contentment in faith of God, and honors inhumility. Good actions About good actions, Abu Bakr said: Goodactions are a guard against the blows of adversity. Be good toothers, that will protect you against evil. If you expect theblessings of God, be good to His people. Every day, nay everymoment, try to do some good deed. Death About death, he said: Havean earnestness for death and you will have life. Death is theeasiest of all things after it, and the hardest of all thingsbefore it. Knowledge About knowledge, he said: The more knowledgeyou have, the greater will be your fear of Allah. Without knowledgeaction is useless and knowledge without action is futile. Knowledgeis the life of the mind. When a noble man learns knowledge hebecomes humble, [whereas] when an ignoble person gains knowledge,he [becomes] conceited. When knowledge is limited - it leads tofolly. [But] when knowledge exceeds a certain limit, it leads toexploitation. Advice In the matter of advice, he said: When youseek advice, do not withhold any facts from the person whose adviceyou seek. When you advise any person you should be guided by thefear of God. If anybody seeks your advice, offer right and sincereadvice. He who is not impressed by sound advice, lacks faith.
