The ReadID demo app (previously known as NFCPassport Reader) reads and verifies the RFID chip embedded inelectronic passports, national identity cards and other ICAOcompliant identity documents (ePassport, or, in ICAO 9309terminology, Machine Readable Travel Documents: MRTD). The appoptically scans (OCR) the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) to gainaccess to the embedded chip.
