Introducing Rescue Party, a game developedinjust 48 hours during Global Game Jam Hong Kong. Up to 6 playerscantake part in this turn based twist on hidden object games.InRescue Party, the goal is to use touch and sound to locatehiddensurvivors in a raging fire. Scan the region by draggingyoursuper-powered directional microphone across the screen. Whenyounear a survivor, you will begin to pick up their heartbeat.Thelouder the heartbeat becomes, the closer you are to location.Thereare multiple survivors hidden in the landscape and it istheplayer’s job to distinguish how many survivors are presentbeforethe rescue team can go in. Unfortunately, the local animalstryingto escape are also very noisy which makes pinpointingsurvivorsmore challenging. Identify the number of survivors beforethe timeis up!Once each round is complete, the player will be ablecustomizethe location and type of 3 distracting noises beforehanding thegame over to the next player. GaGa Ghost was awarded in the categoryof‘Mobile Excellence’ during the 2014 Game Jam event in Hong Kong.Itis an augmented reality game that allows multiple players tocometogether and play against each other. By using wi-ficonnections,users can create a game room to calibrate marker andstart playinginstantly. The objective of this game is to eliminateas manyghosts as possible including the opponent's ghosts in ordertoobstruct their target.This is a time-based game in which players can score bytargetingas many ghosts as possible within 90 seconds. You canslow down theopponent's chances of winning by shooting theirghosts.The theme given to us “We don’t see things as they are, weseethings as we are” has been implemented into the game mechanicsas2D shape of the ghosts forces players to change their anglebyrotating around the game-space in order to be able to see andshootall ghosts.
