Usthaz M.A.M. Mansoor born 1 July 1958 is aprominent Sri Lankan Islamic scholar, theologian, author, andeducator. Usthaz Mansoor widely regarded as one of the mostinfluential Islamic thinkers in the Sri Lankan history. His Arabiclanguage eloquence is hailed above his first language (Tamil), whatacclaimed him as the most prominent tafsir scholar in Sri Lanka. Hegraduated from the University of Naleemiah (Ja'miah Naleemiah) in1981 and appointed as a lecturer in the same year by theuniversity.
