HexProfiler is an app for use on a 3-axis CNCvertical milling machine.The app calculates the toolpath that isrequired for milling a hexagon profile (eg. for bolts and nuts).Theuser inputs all the parameters and then presses the "Create File"button.The toolpath is created and stored in a text file named"Hex".This file is located in the "Documents" folder on the devicefile system.This file contains the g-code toolpath and can be sentto a PC via bluetooth,email,etc.From the PC the g-code file can besent to the CNC Machine.The user has the option to edit the fileextension from ".txt" to ".nc" as necessary.The toolpath file thatis generated is for use on a CNC with a Fanuc controller.Theoverall effect is very similar to that of CAD/CAM systems,butlimited to generating a hexagon toolpath.

Boltholes is an app for use on a 3-Axis CNC Vertical MillingMachine.The app calculates the coordinates for "Bolt-Hole"patterns(holes equi-spaced on a circle).The user inputs all theparameters needed for the calculation and then presses the "CreateFile" button.A G-Code file is created on the device storage systemin the Documents folder.The file is named "Drilling.txt".ThisG-Code file can then be sent via Bluetooth,e-mail,etc to a PC,andfrom there sent to a CNC Milling Machine.The user also has theoption to display the file on the device and edit the file ifneeded,before sending to the CNC Machine.The overall effect is verysimilar to that of CAD/CAM systems,but limited to bolt hole patterndrilling.

This application calculates the chord length for equi-spaced pointson a circle.This chord length is used in engineering,when the userneeds to mark off equi-spaced holes on a P.C.D in order to drillbolt hole patterns.The user enters the value for the P.C.D and thevalue for the number of holes and the chord length value is theoutput.
