Salisbury High School, formerly Boyden HighSchool, was completed in 1926 and named in honor of ColonelArchibald Henderson Boyden. It is one of many handsome schoolsbuilt across North Carolina in the 1920's. The three-story blondbrick building was designed in a scholastic Gothic style by C.Gadsen Sayre and constructed by L. S. Bradshaw. The beautiful,fully air-conditioned facility is listed in the National Registerof Historic Places. Six additional buildings were constructed tohouse the school’s expanded offerings and enrollment. In 1970,Boyden and J.C. Price high schools consolidated to form SalisburyHigh School. Significant facility enhancements occurred between1997 and 1999 when the library was converted to a high-tech,Internet-based media center.

Camp Wigwam, founded in 1910, is located insouthwestern Maine in the foothills of the White Mountains. Theentire property is cradled in a majestic pine grove on the naturalwhite sand beach of Bear Lake.What makes Wigwam so unique is our attention to each and everycamper’s growth as a young man while they discover friendships thatwill last a lifetime. Bashful or outgoing, athletic or not, everycamper becomes part of the ever-growing wigwam family. We offer avery personalized atmosphere, with but four campers and a counselorin each cabin.

The Career Education Center (CEC) EarlyCollege of Denver is a magnet high school of the Denver PublicSchool system, serving ninth through twelfth grade. Originallyestablished in 1976 as Denver’s only comprehensive career andtechnical magnet school, CEC expanded to include an Early Collegein 2002, offering students the opportunity to earn college creditfor coursework completed as a high school student. CEC is open toany metro Denver high school student who wants a versatileeducation addressing both career and academic options.

In an age which often seems careless with tradition, East pridesitself in its long-standing educational service to the Denvercommunity. Few buildings are capable of eliciting awe, but thestriking East building, located in the City Park setting, offersbeautiful landscaping and renders an aesthetic experience for EastHigh students. East is patterned after Independence Hall inPhiladelphia and was granted Denver Landmark Status on February 4,1991, because of its architectural significance.

St James boasts of approximately 1.699families and is an active and vibrant part of the Archdiocese ofGalveston – Houston. Craig Middle School (CMS)CMS houses grades 6, 7 and 8, and is located on an 18 acrecampus which includes a large P.E. field, a football field, and theschool district's baseball field. The new building was completed in2009.The school is equipped with classrooms containing up-to-datecomputer/audio-visual equipment and materials to complement theeducational program, which stresses the improvement of basiclearning skills. The Instructional Materials Center includes acomputerized information search and check out system, and has anexcellent collection of materials for both students and facultymembers.The central core of the instructional program focuses on thebasic subjects of literacy, mathematics, social studies, science,physical education, health, art, industrial arts, and computerskills. Elective courses include: choir, band, foreign language,speech and drama, teen topics, and many additional specializedclasses.CMS places great emphasis on maintaining a positive schoolclimate and close communication with parents, including regularprogress reports, report cards and regularly scheduledparent/teacher conferences.There is an interscholastic sports program for both boys andgirls. Sports include: football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling,and track.

Basketball Tao Academy is Denver'sdevelopmental youth basketball program founded in 2003 by BrianHoward. The program operates in Central Denver providing basketballclasses, clinics, camps, individual and small group basketballlessons on a year round basis. Group Classes are instructed byBrian and Steve Howard for Pre K - 8th grade boys and girls as wellas advanced sessions for competitive players elementary throughcollege. Brian has been the personal coach to many successfulplayers who have received the opportunity to play collegebasketball as a result of receiving Basketball Tao training.
