Fundada porum grupo de dez sócios, a Emissora 91.1, que foi pioneira nacidade, sempre buscou realizar um trabalho sério visandocontinuamente a satisfação de seus ouvintes, que diariamenteacompanha a sua grade de programação. Ao longo destes anos, aemissora recebeu diversos prêmios por sua linha de trabalhodiferenciada.O Diretor Executivo da emissora, Ranulfo Abreu Campos, contoucomo nasceu a ideia de montar o empreendimento na cidade. “Lendouma edição do jornal A Tarde no fim do ano de 1986, maisprecisamente na coluna destinada a divulgar atos administrativos doGoverno Federal, deparei-me com um anúncio de editaldisponibilizando duas emissoras de rádio para Euclides da Cunha.Imediatamente procurei alguns amigos a fim de que pudéssemosparticipar da concorrência. Dessa forma, então, iniciamos oprocesso com algumas reuniões, na verdade umas quatro reuniões, comum grupo de 25 pessoas. No entanto, no fim do processo de criaçãonos limitamos apenas em dez sócios. Foram eles: Atayde José daSilva, Renilson Campos, José Nunes, Renato Campos e sua esposa ZezéLima e os saudosos Teago Ferreira de Carvalho, Luiz Agres [Lula] eDr. Humberto Freire. Após esses anos de existência hoje nós temoseu como Diretor Administrativo e sócio majoritário, José Nunes eJosé Milton de Abreu”, explicou Ranulfo Campos.Ao longo de todos estes anos a Rádio Euclides da Cunha FMcontribuiu de forma significativa para o desenvolvimento, oraalcançado pelo município, levando aos lares dos seus ouvintesentretenimento e notícias locais, da região, do Brasil e domundo.Com o propósito de melhorar cada vez mais a sua qualidade e a suapotência, somente nesses últimos doze meses foram investidos naEmissora cerca de 100 mil reais em serviços como a aquisição de umtransmissor de 5.000 watts, o que expandiu de forma significantesua extensão, chegando ao litoral de Sergipe e aumentandoconsideravelmente o número de municípios baianos que receberam atransmissão da Euclides da Cunha FM.A programação musical vem se caracterizando como uma opção àsegmentação das atuais emissoras de FM, oferecendo ao público omelhor de todos os ritmos no panorama musical brasileiro, da MPB aoPop, do Forró ao Sertanejo e do Brega ao Samba.Radio Euclides da CunhaFM was established in December 8, 1990, filling the void spacestations on FM in the city, while providing a channel ofcommunication between the various segments of society.
