Bristol Opening Doors reveals some of centralBristol’s most interesting buildings through facts, photography andstories. Featuring contemporary showstoppers such as Horizon House(the new Environment Agency offices) and the Bristol HeartInstitute, as well as much-loved favourites like the Bristol OldVic and St James Priory, Bristol Opening Doors includes buildingsof varying size, age, and purpose, and with secrets behind eachdoor. This walking tour app uses GPS to bring youstories of people who were affected by Superstorm Sandy. It takesyou along the boardwalk, beginning at Seaside Park, through SeasideHeights, and up to Ortley Beach.You'll hear the stories of people who were on the scene whenSandy battered the shore, along with stories from people who areleading the rebuilding and you will hear from those who warn aboutrebuilding on a part of land so at risk from nature.When engaged in the tour, your phone actually knows where youare! You can walk at your own speed, stop and listen to stories,but if you get bored -- and we're sure you won't -- you cancontinue on to another story.If you're away from the boards, you can listen to the stories inarmchair mode.

Heuveltoppen bieden eenprachtiguitzicht op het glooiende landschap.Tot nog geen 100 jaar geleden werkten er veel mensen in en omhetbos. De werkzaamheden liepen sterk uiteen. Gezinnen sprokkeldenerhun hout of zochten naar bosbessen.
