The purpose of the application is to take care that the orders aredelivered on time at the customer end by the couriers of aRestaurant. The application keeps track of the GPS location of thecouriers who deliver the orders to the customers. Based on thecommunication layer between Cashdesk POS system and the mobile App,a certain number of orders are assigned to each courier. Eachcourier is responsible for her/his own list of orders to deliver atthe customer end. Steps taken to understand the functioning of theApp: 1- Courier opens the App 2- The assigned orders for thecourier are retrieved and displayed 3- Courier chooses one order todeliver 4- The App sends the GPS location of the Cashdesk POSsystem (every 5 seconds, GPS location update is sent to the POSsystem to keep track of the courier’s location) 5- Whenever theorder is delivered, the courier selects the order and press on thebutton “Delivered”. 6- Data on delivered order is sent back toCashdesk system 7- The delivered order is deleted from the list inthe App
