Classic Hits UK, is based in the CityofLeicester, in the heart of the United Kingdom and is thebrainchild of David Abbey and is just classic hits from the 60'sand70's


David has been associated with the world of Radio Broadcastingforover 40 years, having worked for both Commercial andPubliclyfunded radio stations both here in the UK, as well radiostationsworld-wide.

Having grown up in the Sixties, and having experiencedtheSeventies, he has a genuine love for the popular music of thosetwodecades. Hence his decision to start his own Internet RadioStationback in 2010.

This was launched under the station name of 'ClassicBroadcastingCompany ', using the 'on-air' tag of 'CBC' , and wasfairlysuccessful.

Further financial investment was secured in 2013, and thestationwas re-named 'Classic Hits UK'.
The response was quite overwhelming, with listeners logging oninmany countries world-wide.

As ever Classic Hits UK endeavours to bring you a wide rangeofprogrammes. These include 'Relics & Rarities ' 'MotownMemories' & 'Soul Facts '.
