BERACHOT - Life in the modern world proceedsata very rapid pace. Everyone has to get to many places on time,to domany things, to meet many people – all in one day. Because ofthis,the smartphone has become the active person’s mostneededinstrument, to which he is connected day and night. Thisinstrumentserves as a combination of many functions: telephone;computer;tablet; camera; diary; music player; radio, and more. Inthe past,a Jew had to carry many books with him wherever he went: aSiddur;Chumash; Tehillim; Gemara; books on Halacha, etc. The Siddurwasespecially essential – prayers are recited daily and everywhere–at work, traveling, at the restaurant, on vacation, etc.Todaythere is no need for that anymore – the smartphone hasevenreplaced the Siddur.
This application is meant for assisting the Jew innavigatingconfidently through the world of blessings.
How is it unique and different from similar applications?
Here are some of its features:
- The prayers and blessings are displayed in threeversions:Askenaz, Edot HaMizrach and Sefarad.
- There are three language options: Hebrew in Hebrew letters,Hebrewin Latin letters (transliteration), and English translation,inaddition to short explanations of each blessing.
- Easy and user-friendly interface.
- The presence of four languages: Hebrew, Russian,English,Georgian;
- Everything that one would need on a daily basis –nothingsuperfluous.

B"HKaddish (Aramaic קַדִּישׁ – holy) is a unique and exaltedprayer/declaration which sanctifies the name of G-d and expressesour burning desire for the time when "His great name grow exaltedand sanctified" throughout the world. Interestingly, the name ofG-d is not mentioned even once in the entire kaddish; only areference to His great name. The text of Kaddish is mostly in theAramaic language. It is recited a few times during the prayerservices, but only when a Minyan (gathering of ten or more men overthe age of thirteen) is present. Reciting Kaddish during prayerguarantees acceptance of one's prayer in Heaven. Furthermore, theKaddish which is recited by a mourner on behalf of a deceasedrelative (Mourner's Kaddish) has the power to protect the soul ofthe departed from the punishments in the next world.There are a few slight variations (Nusach) to the Kaddish textbased on the origins of the community/congregation. (e.g.Ashkenazic, Sefardic).
