Che la loro comunità fosse moltoevoluta si deducebene dalla "Tavola osca" rinvenuta nel marzo 1848tra Capracotta ed Agnone. Dal 1873 è custodita nel British Museumdi London. Nel periodo osco Trivento era nominata Tpebintm ed avevacome stemma una medaglia su cui era inciso un toro alato.
