Description

Are you planning to go on a trek to AnnapurnaBase Camp? and searching for a good guidebook? Maybe you need morethan just a guidebook. Maybe you need a travel companion who willtell you stuffs you want to know even in the remotest of theplaces.
Imagine you are in the middle of the Colosseum and the walls arenot 150 but 10,000 feet high and are made of rock, ice and snow. There you have it, that is what it is like to be at the AnnapurnaBase Camp. We really think the base camp should be marked with a“Caution: Jaw Drop Ahead” sign at least during the full moons. Andit has an approach to match. It is also one of the easier treks inNepal as the trails are great and the altitude isn’t that bad.

Welcome to the Sanctuary of Gods and Titans!!!

Important features:

Place Based approach

Rather than a xerox of an author’s experiences and biases, weprovide information in a place based manner rather than a narrativebased approach. With the narrative based prescriptive approach, theauthor dictates what experience a trekker will have and make moreinformed decisions.

Depth of research

While everybody loves to regurgitate conventional wisdom, we areuncomfortable talking shop. We question, we research and hence wefind stuffs that are just unique.

Placecards

This feature is so novel to the guidebook industry that weactually had to invent the word, ‘placecards’. A placecard is asmall card for stuffs that is relevant to a particular place. Itcould be a bird, a butterfly, a famous person or local folklore. These aren’t the ‘big things’ that normal guidebooks like to pushbut interesting things that engages rather than awes.

Complete lodge coverage

We have basic information including availability of WiFi,non-squat toilets, campsites, prices, contact information and muchmore for ALL the lodges in the area we cover.

Dynamic Safety Features

In order to keep trekkers safe, we have implemented three novelsafety features: Deviation Alerts, Climb Alerts andAvalanche/Rockfall Alerts.

Up-to-date and detailed Safety Section

We have invested a lot of time in coming up with a SafetySection that simply cannot be matched by any other provider.

Mountain Finder

With our Mountain Finder we intend to instill the skill ofknowing mountain names in each and every user.

Offline

Just three words there, “Yes, we are”.

Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek - HG 1.2 APK
Ghorepani-Poon Hill Trek is the gateway trekto walking in the Nepal Himalayas. It shows you enough, but justenough to make you want to come back. In the lower stretches ittreats you with Gurung and Magar hospitality. It also takes youthrough one of the lushest forests teeming with rhododendrons anddiverse wildlife. In a couple of days you will effortlessly glideto a level of serenity that only comes from living close to nature. The high point, both literally and figuratively, is Poon Hill.Rather than thinking of Poon Hill as a hilltop with a good view itis advisable to think of it as a menu, serving ideas for your nexttrek. The mountains that you see in front you from Poon Hill arebest enjoyed by walking into the valleys that lie before you. However, for those pressed for time or for those who just wish toget a feel of trekking in Nepal, this is 'the' trek. Not advised for those who don't wish to get hooked to trekkingin the Himalayas!!Important features:Place Based approachRather than a xerox of an author’s experiences and biases, weprovide information in a place based manner rather than a narrativebased approach.
