Description

This application provides medicalprofessionalsand students with a guide and aid to determine thearterial bloodgas classification of laboratory results. Theclassification aids inthe diagnosis of oxygen and acid basedisorders of patients and as aguide to possible treatment. Theapplication not only provides thebasic classification but also adescription and potential clinicalconditions associated with thearterial blood gas results to aid thepractitioner in theiranalysis of the arterial blood gas laboratoryresults.

This is a good clinical tool but can also be used foreducationalpurposes to demonstrate how altered arterial blood gasresults andclassifications represent different clinicalconditions. Also to aidin education educational videos and avector analysis methodologyare taught and tools provided forpractitioners within theapplication to aid in the learningprocess.
