تاج اللغة وصحاح العربية هو معجم لغوي بالمفرداتالعربية ألفه الإمام أبو نصر إسماعيل بن حماد الجوهري. ويطلق على هذاالمعجم اختصاراً اسم الصحاح.وهو من أقدم ما صنف في العربية من معاجم الألفاظ مرتب على الأبوابوالفصول, فجعل حروف الهجاء أبواباً وجعل لكل حرف من هذه الأبوابفصولاً بعدد حروف الهجاء. وجاء ترتيب الكلمات في هذا المعجم حسب أواخرالكلمات فما كان آخره نون مثلاً تجده في باب النون. وقد طبع الكتاب فيستة أجزاء وقد حققه السيد أحمد عبد الغفور العطار سنة 1956 في مصر.وقد اشتمل هذا المعجم على 40 ألف مادة.وقد أحدث ظهور هذا المعجم ثورة في تأليف المعاجم, إذ خالف فيترتيبه نظام الخليل الفراهيدي وجاء بناءه على حروف الهجاء حسب أواخرالكلمات, ويعد عند علماء العربية من أجود المعاجم وأنفعها وأكثرها دقةوضبطاً. وقد قام الإمام محمد بن أبي بكر الرازي باختيار بعض موادهوسماه مختار الصحاح.The crown of the Arabiclanguage and sanitation is a glossary of Arabic language vocabularywritten by Imam Abu Nasr Ismail bin Hammad essential.
