ycoStock is a simple stock program thatmanages a list of your favorite stocks. Stock information such asstock values, changes, and volumes can be obtained from YahooFinance website at a regular time interval.Your favorite stocks can be assigned into a number of groups sothat you can get and display stock information of the whole groupat the same time. Each stock can be assigned to multiple groups sothat you can organize your stocks to appear in a number of yourstock profiles.Also you can select your hot stocks and put into the Home Screenas stock widgets which will be updated automatically. Bylong-clicking any unused area in the HomeScreen, you can select "ycoStock" after the list of widgets aredisplayed. Once the "Select Stock" screen is displayed, you caneither enter a new stock or select the stock from the group orstock list.Once the stock widgets are displayed in the Home Screen, theywill be updated automatically at regular time interval. Touchingany of the stock widgets will bring up the ycoStock main screen inthe same manner as touching the ycoStock icon in the launcher. Fromthe main screen, you can manage your stocks such as adding newstocks, deleting stocks, and sorting stocks etc. You can also usethe "Settings" screen to change the settings of ycoStock.Only stocks that lives in the stock widgets are updatedautomatically, the other stocks in the group or stock list can onlybe updated manually using the "Show Stock Value" option in theoption menu. This can minimize the data usageand in turns the battery usage significantly if you have quite anumber of stocks in your stock list.The data and battery usage can also be further minimized bydisabling the automatic update at the time when the stock market isclosed for trading. You can also disable updating of stockinformation on a per-group and per-stock basis.
