The principle behind the Competition is to walk intheCzechmountains and look for and collect virtualstamps(Yeti’sfootprints) using the České hory mobileapplication(hereinafterreferred to as “the Application”). The goalis tocollect as manyvirtual stamps as possible before theCompetitioncloses. Users ofthe Application acquire a stamp byidentifyingtheir actualposition at one of the indicated places ofinterest (bymeans ofGPS coordinates, tolerance of approx. 50 m).Uponconfirmation, theApplication adds a virtual stamp totheCompetitor´s collection.For each stamp acquired the user isawardeda certain number ofpoints in the Application. The goal ofthisApplication is toinform and to motivate people to walk in theCzechmountains. Themain function of the Application is to givepeoplethe opportunityto collect virtual stamps (Yeti footprints)fortheir endeavours.The locations where you can earn the stampsarelargely touristlandmarks close to well known walking routes intheCzechmountains. The Application also contains recommendedroutesforchildren, young people, adults and active sportsmen aswellasuseful information for visitors to the mountains.Theinformationincludes the basics of first aid, codes of conductinthemountains, ski slope etiquette and the location ofthenearestMountain Rescue Service station.
