At ASPACE SEVILLA we are pleased to publishatale called "Renata's Street" It is aimed at addressing theissueof disability, specially that of cerebral palsy, in anentertainingand realistic manner.Written two years ago, it intends to infuse childrenwithpositive attitudes that afford them an insight intodisabilities asa normal part of life. It allows them to realise itis thesurroundings, rather than the disability itself, that keepsthisgroup of disabled people from integrating into society.As well as children and parents, this tale provedsuccessfulamongst the teaching community, paving the way for manypapers ondiversity. This encouraged us to turn the original taleinto aninteractive application, adding features such as narrationandcontent in various languages, music and a fair degree ofanimation,thus making it a contemporary tool whose message can goacrossborders.
