Calculus 1 1.6
Doctor Math
Doctor Math is really proud to introduce its firstproduct,Calculus1. The concept is very simple. Doctor Math is surethatlearningmathematics becomes very effective, if the studentsapplytheirlearned theory by solving as many practical problemsaspossible.Doctor Math Calculus 1 offers the students more than280practicalproblems. All solutions of problems and theirdetailedexplanationsare available as well. The problems coverdifferentfields ofmathematics enclosed in the syllabus of the firstyearcalculus ofmost universities of the world. This app includesthefollowing maintopics: - Real numbers, mathematical induction.-Functions andlimits. - Differential calculus. - Applicationofderivative (Taylorseries, extreme value problems,Newton’sMethod). - Integralcalculus. - Application of Integral(Volumes, arc length, area ofsurface revolution). - Infinitesequences andseries (limits andconvergence). These 7 sections ofCalculus 1 aredivided intoseveral subsections. Each subsectioncontains 7problems. Thecomplexity of problems is increasing withthe numberof the problemin every subsection. The students havethepossibility to solve theproblems themselves and comparetheresults with the answersprovided by Doctor Math. Ifdifficultiesoccur during the solvingprocess or if the answers donot match, then the students can simplyclick the ”solution” buttonand seethe complete solution with allnecessary explanations. Moreover,Doctor Math includes a buttoncalled ”What Should I Know”.The pageunder this button contains abrief summary of definitionsandtheorems as well as formulasnecessary for solving theproblems.Through the feedback buttonDoctor Math is wishing to stayineveryday contact with all users.Any remark or question iswelcome. Here is the best part - DoctorMath Calculus 1 is completelyfree. To learn more about Doctor Math, please visit:www.doctor-math.com
Number Theory Solver 1.0
Shane Mulligan
This app performs 5 fundamental calculationsinnumber theory. These form a basis for many algorithmsincryptography and computer security. They are:1. Determine if number is prime, or find the smallestprimefactor if it is not prime. This can be used repeatedly to findallthe prime factors of a number.2. Find the gcd(m,n) (greatest common divisor) and lcm(leastcommon multiple) of two integers, i.e. the largest integerthatdivides both numbers.3. Compute a number mod n, (modular arithmetic), or anumberraised to a power mod n, i.e. modular exponentiation a^b modn. Forexample 2^50 mod 15.4. Compute the modular inverse of a number, i.e. solve a*x =1mod n, for integer x, given a and n.5. Find integer solutions x, y to Diophantine equations,i.e.equations of the form ax + by = c, where a, b, c areallintegers. This app does not display any ads. Please submit your comments/suggestions to improve this appforfuture versions.
