The Weekly Timesheet Android App acts as atimecard and logs employee hours by day of the week, type, dateandother relevant information. It can be saved and sent by emailtoappropriate recipients in the form of a .csv file (commaseparatedvalues) that can be imported or opened in a spreadsheetapplicationsuch as Microsoft Excel or Open Office Calc.The time sheet can store hours and dates for each day of theweekincluding Saturday and Sunday. It can save the types of hoursasregular work hours, pto (paid time off) hours and holiday hours.Italso retains information such as employee name, phone numberandemail address as well as the manager name. Anyadditionalinformation that needs to be stored can be placed in thefield withthe same name.When the employee hours are entered, clicking the savebuttonwill add the regular hours, pto hours and the holiday hoursand putthe result in the total column of the same row. In addition,thecolumns are added downward and the result is placed in thetotalrow. Entries made in the total row or columns cannot besaveddirectly but the sum is saved with the Save button along withthelogged hours.The timesheet is saved to external storage, such as thesdcard,on the device in a directory called Timesheet with thenameweekly_timesheet.csv. When ready to be emailed, the timesheetemail destination field includes the email addresses oftheintended recipients that should be separated by semicolons.Oncethe destination field is complete, clicking the Submit buttonwillsend the time sheet .csv file as an attachment.When the timesheet file is received in an email, it canbedownloaded to the local machine. By clicking on the file, itshouldopen automatically in a spreadsheet application with animportdialog box. At this point, the comma should be selected asthedelimiter.
