The club played its first two seasons intheVJCA, enjoying success, and after joining the VictorianSubDistrict Cricket Association (VSDCA) in 1973, we have playedinthis competition for 39 years. The VSDCA consists of 28clubs,playing cricket across the Melbourne metropolitan area.During this time, the club has won 21 premierships includingfourin the first grade.Australian Test player and former national selector MervHughesstarted his cricket career at Werribee CC, and the club hashelpedproduced many quality players including current SouthAustraliaRedbacks player Daniel Worrall and Victorian Under19representatives Travis and Shaun Dean. Many Werribee CCplayershave progressed to District ranks.The club plays regular cricket between October and March atbothChirnside Park (1sts and 2nds) and Soldiers Reserve (3rds and4ths)in Werribee, on Saturdays and some Sundays.
