The closeness that people enjoy with wood may derivefromthe nature. As a designer, both in study and work, one inevitablyencountersthe long history of the Chinese craftsmanship in botharchitectureand furniture. The tenon-and-mortise joint structure asthe essenceof traditional Chinese furniture and architecture hasalwaysattracted my curiosity.
