Wagyu Feed Calculator 1.1 APK
The Wagyu Feed Calculator allows producers to develop a feedrationfor Wagyu cattle. Given the pasture conditions, it calculatesthedaily supplemental feed requirement for an expected growth rateandthe total amount of feed required for a group of animals foraselected period. The calculator incorporates NSW DPIgrowthcalculations enabling the user to compare the cost of one ortwofeeds on an energy and protein basis, as well as develop afeed'mix' using these feeds. The user can select from a range offeedsand use the estimated average feed quality values or entertheirown values from a feed test. The app calculates: 1. Thepasture DMI(kg/hd/day) 2. Percent of energy requirement frompasture 3.Estimated weight gain from pasture (kg/day) 4. Amountofsupplementary feed required (kg/hd/day) 5. Total supplementcostFarmers can easily assess the value of different feeds bysimplycomparing these results for two feeds as well as a mixedration.There are 71 different feeds to select from, each with theirownestimated average energy, protein and dry matter values. Valuescanbe easily overwritten when feed test results are available.Thereare a number of warnings built in to help guide the busyproducerwhen developing a ration.
