The Emergency Alert app is the most efficient way to notify yourfriends and family in case of an emergency. After setting up theapp, when in the emergency mode, it can send your GPS informationto a selected number of contacts through text message with littleor no interaction.Two methods are used for triggering the emergency mode:1) At any moment you can provide two matching incorrect patterns(check out the screenshot with 9 circles) which triggers theemergency mode after a short delay.2) After any interval of your choice, the app will ask you to checkin using your customized pattern code. If you successfullychecked-in by inputting the correct pattern twice) the app willkeep you checked-in for the next couple of hours. If you do notcheck-in, the app sends a new notification every half an hour fortwo hours. After two hours the app goes to the emergency mode.When app is in the emergency mode, the app sends your GPSlocation to your selected contacts every half an hour until youcheck-in again.Notes:The app starts running on the background as soon as you turn onyour phone. Forthis case you can setup the app to check on you at 6pm (a time thatyou are usually back at home). In this case you can set theintervals to 24 hours. With this setup the app checks on you everyday at 6pm.3) If you are going for a mountain climbing or going to a nightclub.
