Alpha is a clean and dark theme with all kindsofexcellent features where as the user you get to choose yourownexperience. Want center or left clock? No problem we can dothat.No root is required! You will however need access to acomputer toget started. This is the first and only theme for the LGV30, G6& G7 running Oreo only!!! Nougat is not supported!!!Knownissue with G6 clock mods on lock screen. This is beinginvestigatedbut does not affect performance or crash anything Irecommenddisabling auto update for Google apps. This is becausetheysometimes update daily and they change so many things that itcaneasily break an overlay. This at least gives me a fightingchanceto find the change and apply it to my theme. From myexperiencereading reviews it seems a lot of people expect aninstant fix forGoogle apps which is not realistic and by doing thisyou can atleast enjoy your overlay until a fix can be found. Someapps therewill be a dialog stating certain things such as "onlyworks onversion 123456, etc" this is because that's the version I'mon andhave not received my update for it yet so therefore Icannotguarantee it will function on the next version. So ifyou'rerunning a higher version and want to have that app themed youhavetwo options. One is be patient and wait for me to update theapp.Or you can uninstall the app and grab the most recentlysupportedversion from apkmirror. I've included the ability to keepandmaintain adaptive icons for your stock launcher and some appshavean option to choose a custom adaptive icon. I'll add more laterandonly did a few that bugged me like the ugly lg settings icon.Forthese to change sometimes you have to go into the settings appandchange the adaptive shape and then they will take affect.That'sjust how the lg home launcher works. Now for the importantpart.Applying the overlays. Btw most of this post will betransferred tothe op when this goes live. First I recommenddisabling any lgthemes applied and reverting back to stock theme.The two cancoexist but it's not advised and if you have an LG themeappliedand then apply any substratum mods, and then just go backinto theLG theme chooser app it can disable all substratum mods andreapplyyour LG theme again which is a bit of a pain. I found thatthe"build and apply" option doesn't always work well with LG. Itcancause substratum to freeze on occasion, and can breakconnectivitywith Andromeda as well. It doesn't happen every timebut I foundthrough extensive testing the best way is to use "buildand update"even if it is your first time installing the overlay. Itjust worksbetter and faster most of the time. Then once all theoverlay's arebuild go back and select them again and select"enable". I found 9times out of 10 this is the best way to applythem and Iexperienced fewer issues. Do this from the "Themes" tab.The"Manager" tab really wasn't needed and caused me themostheadaches. When applying the "Android" overlay a reboot willberequired for everything to take full effect. Keep in mindrebootingalso kills Andromeda so you'll have to reconnect to it ifyou wantto apply anything else.
