The one complaint that we kept hearing was “Where can Ifindlocal food?” Remember that our small-scale local food growersandproducers do not have the capacity or the capital toproperlymarket their products in this industrialized food market.TheLocalFood app is their new marketing tool. If local is importanttoa restauranteur, shouldn’t the locally minded eater know? Ifarancher’s meat is the result of pasture-raised animals,shouldn’tthe rancher be able to get the word out?
