iCell gives students, teachers, and anyone interested in biology a3D view inside a cell. Included are examples of three types ofcells: animal, plant, and bacteria. Learn about the various partsof the cell, which biologists, biochemists, and DNA researchers atthe HudsonAlpha Institute study and use to advance the limits ofbiotechnology.You can use your finger to tap on parts of the cell to selectand zoom in on that particular organelle. Each organelle comes witha name and a short description of its function in the cell.For a better view of each cell, hold down one finger on thescreen, and drag to rotate around the cell or selected organelle.You can zoom in and out by pinching or flaring with two fingers atonce.We hope you enjoy!

Genome Cache™ has been developed by the Educational Outreach Teamatthe HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology in Huntsville,Alabama.It can be used on McMillian Park, located on theHudsonAlpha campusin Huntsville or in conjunction with theGenomeCache website(genomecache.hudsonalpha.org), anyone anywherecan create their ownGenomeWalk. The app includes a total of 20different pathwaysthrough the human genome to choose from, eachhighlighting 15genetic points of interest. Explore the humangenome through avirtual scavenger hunt, learn about how genescontribute to humantraits, engage with fun facts, and test yourknowledge with a triviaquestions. Get points by finding eachlocation and answering thetrivia questions correctly and post yourhigh score to the leaderboard.
