eQuake™ is an earthquake early-warning app developed by Zizmos™. Ituses a network of seismic sensors to detect earthquakes. When anearthquake occurs, the Zizmos servers send the user anearly-warning notification that alerts the user of expected shakingin the area. The ability to detect earthquakes and provide alertsis dependent on the number of sensors in the Zizmos network.Another feature of eQuake™ is its capability to use your phone as asensor which contributes to the Zizmos earthquake warning systemimproving the coverage of seismic detection. The sensor mode onlyworks when the device is charging and connected to a Wi-Fi network.The app provides other features that give the user usefulearthquake information. Earthquake Alerts Tracker - Track when a earthquake occurs aroundthe world.

In a simple way it shows the last earthquakes, tsunami bulletinsand meteorological bulletins in Chile. Each event has the detailsof magnitude, date of occurrence of the event and time. It alsopresents information about the intensity of the earthquakeindicating if the earthquake can cause a tsunami, all thisinformation is included in a map view to know the exact location ofthe event. You can see seismic reports of national andinternational tremors in a simple way. These reports also includean image with a seismogram (record of the earthquake with a realinstrument), only if it is available. Also included is a tab with alist of seismic stations with instruments to record these events(seismographs) of Chile to visualize the seismic records and theseismic activity of the area. Useful for monitoring. Chile Alert isable to report seismic events in real time, and after a few minutesit delivers the tremor report with a seismogram and map. Issuesnotifications before a seismic event or tsunami warning that mayaffect (or not) in any way to Chile. This app has 5 different typesof alarms: Message / Notice / New report or common notification.(Alarm No. 1). Seismic alert: of a tremor detected in real time andsensitive. (Alarm No. 2). Tsunami warning: when an earthquakeoccurs in other countries with Pacific coast, it is informed in apreventive manner in case of possible danger and then confirmedwith SHOA data. (Alarm No. 3). Seismic Alarm: Similar to Alarm No.2 but this is activated by a large earthquake that can affectmultiple regions of Chile. An order is sent to the App to open apopup window with a sound that can only be turned off if thatwindow is closed (it is useful to get attention or wake up a personwhile they are sleeping). (Alarm No. 4). Tsunami Alarm: similar toAlarm No. 3 and No. 4. A pop-up window indicating an impendingtsunami opens. and it can only be turned off by closing the pop-upwindow. (Alarm No. 5). Geological Service of the UnitedStates. .-Green indicator (State 1 Warning): low intensityearthquakes, tsunami warnings that do not meet the characteristicsto generate a tsunami in the Chilean coasts (?). .-Orange colorindicator (State 2 Alert): medium intensity earthquakes that cangenerate damage or tsunami warnings, if there is a tsunami warningin evaluation it will also be of this color. .-Red indicator (State3 Alarm): earthquakes of high intensity (earthquakes), tsunamialerts that meet the characteristics to generate a tsunami in theChilean coasts (?).
