The program“LanImeComputer.exe” inside that directory, is the main program ofLanImeComputer. When using, just launch it. 3.2 How to use Theusage encounters the following steps: 1. Enable LanIme; 2. SetLanIme as the current active IME; 3. Connect LanImeComputer withLanIme; 4. Type for your phone using your computer. Let's talkabout the steps one by one. 3.2.1 Enable LanIme Open the page“Settings”>“Language & input” on your phone. Check the checkbox before “兰心输入法”. The system will show a confirmation dialog,telling you about privacy information. Click “OK”. Now, LanIme hasbeen enabled. 3.2.2 Set LanIme as the default IME Stay in the“Language & input” page, click on “default” to select defaultIME. Click to choose “兰心输入法”. Now, LanIme is the default IME ofyour phone. 3.2.3 Connect LanImeComputer with LanIme Ensure thatyour phone and your computer connect to the same LAN. If you are ina home network, then, it's quite possible that they connect to thesame LAN. Open the WLAN settings page of your phone, and check theIP of your phone in your network. As the image above shows, thephone is currently connected to WLAN “StupidBeautyA”, and it's IPaddress is “192.168.1.102”. Remember this IP address, as we need toinput this IP into LanImeComputer later. Launch LanImeComputer onyour computer. It is not connected to LanIme on your phone yet. Inthe “Server IP:” area, enter the IP of the phone which we have seenbefore, as in this case, it is “192.168.1.102”. The press the Enterkey on the keyboard. Now, LanImeComputer will connect to LanIme onthe phone immediately, and show the name of the phone. Now,LanImeComputer has been connected to LanIme. 3.2.4 Use yourcomputer to input text for your phone Now, we can input text forthe phone using the computer. Open any app that need to input texton your phone, and set focus to the input area. As shown in theimage below, Firefox is waiting for us to input something into theaddress bar. Now, pay attention to the computer. Inside the userinterface of LanImeComputer, there is an input area named “Text:”.Please enter the text you want to input for Firefox, for example,“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable frommagic.”.
