Is the game of Egyptian Basra or “Al Koiumi”, “Ash El Walad”,butplayed by four player – two teams each of two opposing playersforma team. After eachgame the new dealeris assigned to the right of the current dealer.As a reminder tothe gameplay rules of the Egyptian Basra: 1- One ofthe fourplayers (the Dealer) will deal four cards for each from thedeck,and will include the table with four table too on in thebeginningof the game. When dealing again, he will deal for theother playersfirst and for himself only. 2- Each player will playone card inhis turn to the ground until they are out of cards, thenthe dealerwill deal again four cards each but not the table. 3-Each teamgoal is to take from the table cards as many cards as theycan.After the Dealer is out of cards. Each pile the teamscollectedthrough the game will be counted and the team who got themostcards will get the 30 points. The other will get zero. 4- Whattheplayer can take from the table is either a card with samevalue,suit not important, or group of cards on the tablerepresentingwhich their values sum equal a card value in his hand,the J, Q,and K are not included in the sum: - e.g. there are fourcards onthe table Ace (have a value of 1), 7, K, and 8; if you havecard 8in your hand you will take 3 cards, the 8 and the 1+7 whichequalthe 8. or if has 9 he can take 8+1. If you have card K in yourhandyou will only take the K from the table. 5- If there is (card JorDiamond 7) in your hand you will take all the table cards. 6-whenthe table is empty and next player play one card (of course hewillbe careful not to play J or diamond 7, these are specialasdemonstrated), If the other player have similar card in his handhewill take the card from the table as additional bonus as calledbyEgyptians "Basra". 7- the other situation to take "Basra" iswhenall the table cards values sum to one card value in his handinaddition to any similar card have the same sum value: -e.g.thetable cards are (10, 5, 4, 1) and the player has 10, or (8, 7,1)and the player has 8 ... etc. 8- Also in the previoussituationhappens and the player has diamond 7 he will take thecards on theground as "Basra". Diamond 7 is special card that has 2rolescalled by Egyptians "Al Komi"; the other name of the samegame; itwill take basra of any value or as the J take all theground. 9- Becareful not to hold the J or Diamond 7 as last card inyour hand asthe other player may take the whole table cards andburn your J orDiamond 7, as he will take either of them as "Basra"next time heplay. 10- If the dealer is out of cards, its time tocount thecards which only the player with most of the cards willtake thispoint. Also the count of Basra taken by the two playerswill becounted and both will take the Basra bonus. 11- Severalrounds willcontinue in which the two players will exchange thedealing roleand the other player will start first until the targetscore isreached, and the winner announced.
