NOTE: THIS APPLICATION REQUIRES A SUPERCHIPS™ VIVID LINQ OBD-IIVEHICLE INTERFACE DEVICE (SOLD SEPARATELY) COMPATIBLE WITH THEVEHICLE. The VIVID Superchips Tuningapplication allows the user to reprogram the vehicle powertraincomputer to improve engine and transmission horsepower and torque.These changes may enhance day-to-day street & trackperformance, fuel economy, trailer towing, and off-road use. Powerlevels include 87 Performance, High Octane Performance, Light Tow,Heavy Tow, Mileage XS SAVE, and Crawl Tuning. Superchips engineand/or transmission tuning can be achieved through two provenmethods: Quick and Advanced Tuning. Quick Tuning uses Superchipsproprietary settings for optimum performance in most conditions.The user has limited parameter adjustability. Advanced Tuningallows the user to manually select from a series of engineparameters to suit the users specific needs. Adjustments mayinclude (depending on vehicle application): Wide-Open Throttle(WOT) restriction removal, WOT shift points, shift firmness, speedlimit adjustment, rev limit adjustment, tire size adjustment, axlegear adjustment, throttle body relearn, idle speed, fan temperaturecontrol, spark advance set, and tire pressure monitoring thresholdadjustment. Tuning is available for most popular Chrysler LLC, FordMotor Company, and General Motors applications includingdiesel-powered pickup trucks, gasoline-powered pickup trucks &SUVs, and modern American performance cars.
