MKG ODB II recorder 1.4e
Mkg OBD II recorder collects information fromyour smartphone and bluetooth connected ELM 327 device, and recordstelematics information for review in a KML file on your phone. While the Mkg service is running, the user can select up to 4different items to display on their smartphone (see below for thelist). Now with "Find My Car" - if the functionality is configured, when you are searching for your car, you can start the "find mycar" functionality, and find the location where phone was locatedwhere the previous data capture stopped (presumably where youparked your car). The accuracy of this functionality is dependenton your phone's GPS.Starting with version 1.3, new features in Mkg are not availableif the user has chosen to make all Mkg KML files private (notuploaded to the MotorCardiogram cloud). In 1.3 we have added theability to configure Mkg with the the cost of fuel, the unit ofmeasure for the fuel (liters or US Gallons), and the currencysymbol or ISO currency abbreviation. You can choose to see theexpense of the current trip, the expense per 100 miles or 100 km,either for the trip or the current moment. The default configuration of this product is to provide the userwith extensive privacy methods, and to upload files to theMotorCardiogram cloud after several days have passed. You canreview the Mkg KML files using Mkg Browse or copy the files fromthe downloads folder on your phone and review them with GoogleEarth. Mkg Browse can also be used to mark files that haven't beenuploaded to the MotorCardiogram cloud as private, or to deletefiles. Users can select that all Mkg KML files are private (whichmeans they won't be uploaded to our cloud). Using 3rd party apps, the user can then manage those files as they wish.Unless the user changes the default configuration, thisapplication starts at bootup of the smartphone. It is active if thesmartphone is plugged in to a power supply. The app collectsinformation based on location (GPS), OBD II (if configured toconnect to an ELM 327 bluetooth device), and cellular signalstrength data (if the smartphone includes a cell modem). If you have problems connecting with your ELM 327 device, pleaseverify connectivity between your smartphone and ELM 327 device withother fine apps that will connect to an ELM 327 device. After youhave verified such connectivity, please feel free to contact us atour e-mail address.List of parameters for display while in use (some not availableif not supported by Automobile):BearingSpeed, MPH (GPS)Speed, m/s (GPS)Speed, km/h (GPS)Trip Distance, MilesTrip Distance, kmTrip Distance, mAverage MPHAverage k/hAverage m/sAverage MPH (moving)Average k/h (moving)Average m/s (moving)Trip TimeTrip Time (moving)Solar ElevationSolar AzimuthRelative AzimuthEngine RPMCoolant Temperature °FCoolant Temperature, °CAmbient Air Temp °FAmbient Air Temp °CIntake Air Temp °FIntake Air Temp °CCommanded Equivalence RatioSpeed, MPH (OBD)Speed, km/h (OBD)Throttle positionRelative Throttle PositionManifold Air PressureMass Air FlowGallons per 100 Miles (OBD)Liters per 100 km (OBD)Miles per Gallon (OBD)Gallons per 100 Miles (trip)Miles per Gallon (trip)Liters per 100 km (trip)Gallons per 100 Miles (warmup)Miles per Gallon (warmup)Liters per 100 km (warmup)Liters fuel after warmupGallons fuel after warmupLiters fuel - TripGallons fuel - TripCost of fuelCost per 100 kmCost per 100 milesCost per 100 km (trip)Cost per 100 miles (trip)Compare this application to Automatic.com, Torque by Ian Hawkins,CarMD.All registered trademarks or trademarks are property of theirrespective owners.Patent Pending.
