Bhabhi is the hit card game from India playedby millions of people worldwide. This game is also known asGetaway. Getaway is played in the Punjab region of India andPakistan and also in Bangladesh. The aim of the game is to "getaway" by playing all of one's cards. The last remaining player whofails to get away and is left holding cards is the loser. Bhabhi,which in Hindi means "brother's wife". This name, which is appliedto the loser of the game as a mocking insult, is extremelyoffensive in the context of Punjabi culture. It belongs to atradition, sadly not yet extinct, in which women were regarded asproperty and treated with disrespect and cruelty. Play in games upto 6 players. Their built-in artificial intelligence means they'lluse the same strategies as the best Bhabhi players. They won'thesitate to give you a thoku if you play the wrong card at thewrong time! The game is easy to learn, and takes skill to master andcomes with complete set of rules. Game Rules: 1. The cards areshuffled and dealt out as equally as possible to the players - someplayers may have one more card than others. 2. The players eachpick up their cards and look at them, without showing them to anyother player. 3. Play begins with the player who has the Ace ofSpades who must throw that card to open pile (done automatically).4. Play then continues clockwise with each player throwing a cardof the same suit to open pile. 5. Once everyone has thrown theircard the round is complete and all played cards are placed aside.6. The next round starts with the player who threw the highest cardin the previous round (Aces are the highest cards and twos are thelowest). This player can throw any card from their hand. 7. If aplayer doesn't have any cards of the current suit of open pile thenthey are free to throw any other card from their hand. This card iscalled a thoku and results in the round ending immediately. Whoeverthrew the largest card of the current suit in open pile must pickup all cards that had been played in that round and this playerthen starts the next round. IMPORTANT: You cannot lie! TIP: You canget rid of your high cards here for strategy! 8. Once a player getrid of all their cards, he stop playing and he is not bhabhi. 9.Play continues until there is only one player with cards. Thatplayer is the Bhabhi. 10. If a player doesn't have any Spades inthe first round then they're free to throw any card. The thoku iswaived, so the starting player doesn't have to pick up the cards.11. To sort your cards automatically, you can touch your image icon(Me) anytime.
