O novo acordo ortográfico introduz mudançasnovocabulário da língua portuguesa. Apesar de essas mudançasteremmodificado um percentual pequeno do vocabulário, as pessoastêmpassado dificuldades para se adaptar às novas regras.Visandoabordar esse problema, foi desenvolvido o JogoOrtográficoEducacional (JOE). JOE foca predominantemente nas regrasdeacentuação e hífen por meio de gamificação. O jogo foi divididoemdois modos: treino e desafio. No modo de desafio, é verificadoonível atual de conhecimento ortográfico do jogador medidoporpontuação.
