A remarkable book of fatawa by Hakimul UmmahShaykh Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (R.A.) . Some issues are discussedin great detail while others are answered in a concise manner. Bothlaymen and scholars can benefit greatly from Imdadul Fatawa. Ashraf'Ali Thanwi (August 19, 1863 – July 4, 1943) (Urdu: اشرف علیتھانوی‎) was an Indian scholar of the Deobandi school whosereligious contributions are still useful to Deobandi scholars.Education Thanwi graduated from the Darul Uloom Deoband in 1884. Itis claimed that when Rashid Ahmad Gangohi, one of the founders ofthe institution, arrived for the graduation ceremony, MaulanaMehmud Hasan informed him that Thanwi, an especially intelligentstudent was about to graduate. Gangohi wanted to test this studentby asking the most difficult questions that he could think of.Thanwi's answers reportedly amazed and pleased Gangohi, who himselfconducted the Dastārbandī Jalsa, the turban-tying ceremony markinggraduation. Career After his graduation, Thanwi taught religioussciences in Kanpur for fourteen years. Over a short period of time,he acquired a reputable position as a religious scholar of Sufismamong other subjects. His teaching attracted numerous students, andhis research and publications became well known in Islamicinstitutions. During these years, he traveled to various cities andvillages, delivering lectures in the hope of reforming people.Printed versions of his lectures and discourses would usuallybecome available shortly after these tours. Until then, few Islamicscholars had had their lectures printed and widely circulated intheir own lifetimes. The desire to reform the masses intensified inhim during his stay at Kanpur. Eventually, Thanwi retired fromteaching and devoted himself to reestablishing the spiritual centre(khānqāh) of his shaikh in Thāna Bhāwan.\n\nDeath\nThanwi died inThāna Bhāwan on July 4, 1943. His funeral prayer was led by hisnephew, Zafar Ahmad Uthmānī, and he was buried in the graveyard of'Ishq-e-Bāzān.

Sūrat al-Muzzammil (Arabic: سورة المزمل‎, "TheEnshrouded One, Bundled Up, Enfolded") is the 73rd Sura, orchapter, of the Qur'an. The Sura contains 20 ayat, or verses, whichare recognized by Muslims as the word of Allah (God).Al-Muzzammil takes its name from the reference to the Islamicprophet Muhammad, in his cloak praying at night, in the openingverses of the Sura. Many commentators claim that “The Enfolded One”is a name for Muhammad, used throughout the Qur'an.In the beginning of this Sura, Allah prepares Muhammad for animportant revelation. In preparation for this revelation, Allahloosens the strict regulation on night prayer. Muhammad is theninstructed to be patient for the disbelievers will be punished inHell, as exemplified by a story of Pharaoh’s punishment.Surah Al-Muzzammil in AudioSurah Al-Muzzammil Translation in English and HindiSurah Al-Muzzammil is one of the surah from 26 surah

Surat ar-Rahman (Arabic: سورة الرحمن, 'TheMost Merciful') or al-Rahman, is the 55th sura of the Qur'an with78 ayats. It has the refrain: 'Then which of your Lord's blessings wouldyou deny?'One of the main aims of the sura is to chastise men and jinn fortheir lack of gratitude towards Allah, who has showered them withan abundance of blessings. Verses 1-30 describe some of theresources (fruits, palm trees, husked grain, fragrant plants, freshand salt water, pearls, ships) that Allah has graciously providedfor the men and jinn he created, in his infinite mercy, out of clayand smokeless fire (55:14), and set down under a sky illuminated bythe twin risings of the sun and moon (55:17). In addition to thesematerial blessings, verses 1-4 recount the fact that Allah taughtman how to communicate and even gave him the Qur'an to guide him onthe path to righteousness. The refrain, 'Which, then, of yourLord's blessings do you both deny?', chastises thebountifully-provided for men and jinn for failing to acknowledgetheir indebtedness to Allah for his tremendous mercy. Thepunishment that awaits these ungrateful creatures is brieflydescribed in verses 35-45; for the remainder of the sura, thedelights of the gardens of paradise (replete with shading branches, flowing springs, fruit, maidens, couches, cushions, and finecarpets) are lyrically described, punctuated throughout by thestinging refrain which draws attention to the discrepancy betweenAllah's mercy in providing such luxuriant rewards and theingratitude of men and jinn. The idea that man's gratitude towards Allah is not commensuratewith Allah's tremendous mercy is a central, recurring theme in theQur'an, especially in the early Meccan suras, and Sura 55 is animportant poetic treatment of this theme. The sura also exemplifiesthe Qur'an's tendency to be self-referential and self-validating,as when in verse 2 it emphasizes the fact that Allah taught theQur'an to man out of mercy. In terms of theological developments, Al-Rahman introduces athree-tiered classification of men and jinn: the best of believers('those near to God', the muqarrabīn who will ascend to the highergarden of paradise), the ordinary believers ('those at his right',the ashāt al-yamīn who will enjoy the second garden of paradise),and the disbelievers (who will be punished in Hell). This divisionis echoed in the following sura, Al-Waqi'a.Finally, it is worth noting that the sura is dominatedstylistically by pairs, which in the Qur'an are frequently employedas a sign of the divine. To begin with, it is addressed to a dualaudience of men and jinn: in Haleem's translation of the refrain'Which, then, of your Lord's blessings do you both deny?', 'both'is understood to refer to men and jinn (likewise for the 'you andyou' in Arberry's rendering). Natural phenomena are also referredto in pairs: for example, 'the sun and the moon' (55:5), 'the starsand the trees' (55:6), 'the two risings and the two settings [ofthe sun and the moon]' (55:17), and 'the two bodies of [fresh andsalt] water' (55:19). In addition, paradise is described asconsisting of two double gardens (55:62), each of which contain apair of springs (55:50, 55:66) and fruit in pairs (55:52).Surah Al-Rahman in MP3/AudioSurah Al-Rahman Translation in English and HindiSurah Al-Rahman is one of the surah from 26 surah

Yā Sīn (Arabic: سورة يس‎) is the 36th chapter of the Qur'an with83ayat, and is one of the Meccan suras, although somescholarsmaintain that verse 12 is from the Madinan period.[1] Thename ofthe chapter comes from the two letters of the first verse ofthechapter,[2] which has caused much scholarly debate, andwhichTafsir al-Jalalayn, a Sunni Tafsir, interprets by saying"Allahknows best what He means by these."[3] Yā Sīn is also one ofthenames of the Prophet Muhammad, as reported in a saying of ʿAlīibnAbī Ṭālib: “I heard the Messenger of God say, ‘Verily God hasnamedme by seven names in the Quran: Muhammad [3:144; 33:40;47:2;48:29], Aḥmad [61:6], Ṭā Hā [20:1], Yā Sīn [36:1], thouenwrapped[al-Muzammil; 73:1], thou who art covered [al-Mudaththir;74:1],and servant of God [ʿAbd Allāh; 72:19]’”[4] The sura focusesonestablishing the Qur'an as a divine source, and it warns ofthefate of those that mock Allah's revelations and are stubborn.Thesura tells of the punishments that plagued past generationsofnonbelievers as a warning to present and futuregenerations.Additionally, the sura reiterates Allah's sovereigntyasexemplified by His creations through signs from nature.SurahYaseen Shareef in MP3 Surah Yaseen Shareef Translation inEnglishand Hindi Surah Yaseen Shareef is one of the surah from 26surah
