Toxic Crops for Livestock was developed forlivestock producers interested in grazing forage crops. Plantslisted have been evaluated for safety in regards to metabolic ortoxicity issues for multiple classifications of livestock species.All plants will have a score for the usefulness of the plant asgrazing forage for livestock. The ranking is based on a 0-4 scalewhere 0 is not recommended to 4 being highly recommended. Therankings are based on safe consumption of the plant, foragequality, and yield potential.

This application hosts sensor based nitrogenrecommendationalgorithms which have been developed by researchersin eachrespective region. The calculations are based upon NDVIvaluesretrieved from the GreenSeeker Sensor. The GreenSeeker is anactivelight sensor. It would be expected the NDVI from otheractivessensors would be similar, but potentially not exactly thesame.NDVI from passive sensors or cameras should be used withcaution asthe same level of calibration that can come from anactive sensoris more challenging.
