Application to perform calculations for transportation problems(operations research), using: least cost method, vogel, northwestcorner, and stepping stone. It's a particular case of linearprogramming related to the area of operations research. Although itis called "transportation problems", it can be applied in manyother cases like water, electricity and network distribution, also,foreseeing traffic flow, etc. It involves the distribution frommultiple sources, to multiple destination points, considering: 1 -The cost of distribution between each origin and destination; 2 -The productions from the sources and; 3 - The capacities of thedestinations. We aim to minimize the total cost of transport. Thisapplication, therefore, provides the means to monitor, test andcompare methods which generate an initial feasible solution (leastcost, vogel and northwest corner) and a method for optimizing thesolution (stepping stone).
