Chatadda is designed to generate as little data on servers aspossible – this is a core part of our concept. Chat roommemberships and contact lists are managed on your device only, andnever stored on our servers. Messages are immediately deleted afterthey have been delivered. Local files are stored encrypted on yourmobile phone or tablet. All this effectively prevents thecollection and misuse of your personal information, including metadata.

Youcan rest assured that only the intended recipient can read yourchats, and nobody else – not even us. Chatadda uses the trustedopen source NaCl cryptography library for encryption. Theencryption keys are generated and safely stored on user’s devicesto prevent backdoor access or copies.

• Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage: required forstoring media files (images, videos, audio).
