Description

The game begins with the X-Men andBrotherhoodof Mutants uniting forces to save Professor X andPolaris.
Cyclops, Storm, and Wolverine meet up with Magneto, Mystique,andSabretooth at a military prison outpost in Greenland tofreeProfessor X.
Upon freeing him, the teams relocate to the fictional mutanthavenof Genosha.
They find the island ravaged by Apocalypse's forces, andworkthrough the wreckage and find out what he was searchingfor.
They learn that Quicksilver was kidnapped by Apocalypse, whoalsokidnaps Beast from the X-Mansion.
Beast manages to point the team in the direction of the SavageLand,a secret prehistoric preserve in Antarctica.

Avengers Warriors Fighting work their way through the SavageLand,temporarily hindering Apocalypse's plans. Apocalypse thentravelsto conquer New York.
The teams work at sabotaging his army and resources, but EmmaFrostand Angel are kidnapped as well.
Angel is unwillingly transformed by Apocalypse and MisterSinisterinto Archangel, a Horsemen of Apocalypse.
He is assigned as a sentry to Apocalypse's tower. The teamsdefeatArchangel and infiltrate the tower where they find Beast, nowunderthe control of Mister Sinister;
he kidnaps Sabretooth and escapes with Apocalypse andMisterSinister to Egypt.

They learn that Apocalypse's plan is to use Polaris,Quicksilver,Emma Frost,
and Sabretoothfour mutants with what he refers to as HarmonicDNAaspart of a machine to fuel an experiment to grant himmassiveamounts of power.
The teams then follow Apocalypse to Egypt where they defeatMisterSinister, freeing Beast from Sinister's control. Afterbesting thefinal guard,
the Living Monolith, the teams battle Apocalypse and defeat himbystealing the powers from his machine.
In the final cutscene, Magneto and Professor X part once againasadversaries, noting that Apocalypse was defeated butnotdestroyed.
Beast ponders why the machine did not work properly, wonderingifsabotage was a factor.
As the X-Jet flies away, Sinister is seen on top of thepyramid,laughing, hinting that he sabotaged the machine.

The game begins with Iron Man (voiced byEricLoomis) defending the Dataspine, an archived versionofJ.A.R.V.I.S. (Andrew Chaikin), from attackers.However, an EMP bomb is dropped, disabling him. Three hoursearlier,Tony Stark had recorded a journal message in which hementions theRoxxon Energy Corporation,and how they tried to duplicate the armor without success. Tonyisthen interrupted by James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle),who says that there is trouble at Stark Archives. Following theEMPbomb, the power reserves in Iron Man's armour activate, anduponrecovering,He learns that Roxxon is behind the attack. He grimly decidesthathe should destroy the Dataspine to keep Roxxon from gettingthearchives.Outside, Rhodey, in his War Machine armour, intercepts someRoxxonDropships.He makes contact with S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury (SamuelL.Jackson), who informs him that separatists under the command ofaGeneral Shatalov(Dimitri Diatchenko) have seized control of a Tesla facility.Duringthe escort of S.H.I.E.L.D. helicopter forces,they are attacked by a battle platform called the RoxxonArmiger.After destroying it, Iron Man and War Machine head toabattlecruiser and destroy it,learning the Armiger was remote-controlled. They discoverthatShatalov is working with the terrorist group AdvancedIdeaMechanics to create the Crimson Dynamo suit.Upon learning that the suit is being developed at a power plantinSiberia, Fury reveals that he has sent Natasha Romanoff(CatherineCampion),the Black Widow, to spy on the plant.At the plant, Shatalov makes contact with A.I.M.'s KearsonDeWitt(Doug Boyd), who tells him that there is a spy in hisranks,displeased that he has brought S.H.I.E.L.D. to theirfrontdoor.Shatalov gives orders to prep the Crimson Dynamo armour andtheninforms his men that their connection with A.I.M. isnowsevered.He finds and protects Natasha from Shatalov's men and aS.H.I.E.L.D.transport is sent to their location.Natasha is extracted while Iron Man and War Machine battleShatalovin his Crimson Dynamo armor.The defeated Shatalov reveals that A.I.M. was behind the theftofJ.A.R.V.I.S.' AI, and are planning to use it tocreateUltimo.The team learns that Kearson DeWitt was behind the attack ledbyShatalov, and that he had previously worked at Stark'sTheoreticalWeapons Division,until Stark shut it down. Aside from DeWitt working on theprototypeof the arc reactor, Pepper Potts (Meredith Monroe) alsoreveals thathe had a secret project called PROTEAN.Inside an A.I.M. base, DeWitt uses his PROTEAN technology tomergewith an enormous metal suit and become Ultimo.With the merge complete, DeWitt has his men upgraded withPROTEANimplants. Arriving at the base, War Machine battles PROTEANdroneswhile Iron Man searches for DeWitt.J.A.R.V.I.S. detects Ultimo shortly after the base is securedwithhelp from S.H.I.E.L.D.
