AF-STROKE AF-STROKE is a simple application to assess patientswithatrial fibrillation (AF) against stroke risk factors and tohelpchoose appropriate antithrombotic therapy for strokeprevention. Itcalculates at once CHADS2, CHA2DS2-VASc, and HAS-BLEDscores andcreatinine clearance according to the Cockcroft-Gaultequation.Based on the score results, the latest ESC and AHA/ASAadvice onantithrombotic therapy is given. It is known to be crucialto checkcreatinine clearance before prescribing novel oralanticoagulantsto avoid serious complications. The application warnsyou about thecontraindication or necessity for a dose reduction, ifcreatinineclearance is abnormal.
