Using the WiFitechnology that's been around for years, it provides a smoothexperience in transferring files. SmartShareV2 only works in alocal network. You can't use this app to send files outside yourlocal network. It uses no external servers and it does not storeyour data anywhere but on the devices you choose to send it to. Toinitiate a transfer from a mobile device, select the files to besent and click the "Share via" option, followed by choosingSmartShareV2. The recipient will open their version of SmartShareV2(mobile or PC) and will allow incoming transfers for a limitedperiod of time. In the meantime, the sender will choose therecipient from a list of available destinations. On-screeninstructions will help with the rest of the process. Itisused to transfer photos between two devices that have theappinstalled. You may select any photo, but depending on it's sizeandquality the number of SMS's used will increase. Theapplicationwill encode the photo into text and send it through a"big SMS",consising in up to 255 messages. The receiever MUST havethe appinstalled. When the receiver gets the message, it isautomaticallysaved in a file in /sdcard/fts/temp.txt. Going intothe app andhitting "decode" will decrypt the message and convert itinto theoriginal picture, viewable in gallery.Please excuse the numerous bugs, because I am very new inAndroidDeveloping. Reporting the bugs will be extremelyuseful.NOTE: Please install ES File Explorer to view the files theappcreates, if the gallery won't show up.
