BowSight is an application dedicated to archers that use all kindofsight systems, and help them make the adjustments for alldistancesbetween 5 and 99 meters, uphill and downhill incompetitions thatinvolve diferent target distances known andunknown as field or 3Dcompetitions. All you have to do is tocalibrate the app with threeknown distances sight values and thesystem will do the rest. Itsrecomended, for better calibration,that those distances to coverthe most used range, for example ifyou are usualy shootingdistances between 10 and 30 meters tocalibrate at 10, 20 and 30meters, if you are shooting distancesbetween 20 and 50 yards,calibrating could be at 20, 30 and 40yards. The application willcalculate all the values from 5 to 99meters/yards even if theyexceed the calibration range. For uphilland downhill, after youselect the distance, the angle will be setby just alingning thecross from the middle of the screen with thecenter of the targetand the adjustments will be made by thesystem. The system wil notbe influenced by the measurement units,for distances you can selectbetween meters and yards and becausethe sights do not use astandard for units we will only use thevalue. It is very importantto understand that this application isonly to inform you about thesight values, the system do not shootyour bow, so if you don't havea consistancy in shooting or thecalibration values are not corect,the values that you will get andthe results on the target wil notbe so accurate. So please takesome time to test the calibtationvalues before you enter them inthe system even if you can changethem after. For close distancesyou have to be aware that you have a"focal point" from where thesight will start again to raise. Thisapplication was made based ondeveloping and archery experience witha beautifull design and userfriendly interface. You dont have timeon the field to play on yoursmart phone so we made this applicationeasy as one drag on yourscreen.
