Moon Tracker displays an icon (out of 8) corresponding tothecurrent moon phase in the status bar and shows additionaldetails(such as moon age, moon mansion/manzil/manazil/station[based onlunar age, not absolute moon position], moon illuminationandIslamic/Hijri day) in the notification drawer. Additionally youmaysee moon data for any chosen date by running the application.This app also shows some 'Esoteric Associations' (symboliczodiacposition, chakra, manifestation (from Ibn Arabi's listofarchetypes), tarot archetype) which are derived from moonphase,not moon's astronomical position. 0 degrees is taken asthebeginning of zodiac (Aries) and beginning of 1st chakra.Notice: In this software, Hijri date follows the true ageofmoon. Since it is not an approximated value as generally seeninother apps/institutions, it may differ (by 1 day) fromothersources. Additionally, completion of the previous cycle istaken asthe beginning of the next month; when it is still 'newmoon',before the appearance of crescent.IMPORTANT: a) For this software to work, either make sureyouhave Location Services enabled in device settings or useapre-defined fake/mock location. If you don't have GoogleLocationservices installed on the device and you aren't using amocklocation, you need to clean app data every time you move toanotherplace so that app asks for your location again. b) Batterysavers,memory boosters, task managers and cleanup stuff mightinterferewith this application. c) After some time, Android systemmay killthe service on its own. Restart device at least once a daytoprevent status bar bugs.If you have Google Location services installed on thedevice,your location data is periodically updated (via GSM, GPSorinternet) as long as you are not in flight mode. If you haveanactive internet connection, altitude data is updated aswell.Altitude is necessary for accurately determining localvisiblesunrise/sunset.
