We are happy to introduce a web applicationforformulating ration for crossbred dairy cow and milchbuffalo.Balanced ration is formulated based on level of milkproductioni.e., 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15 and 20 lit/day for a cowweighing 400 kgat different levels of availability of green fodderper day.Similarly for milch buffalo balanced ration is formulatedbased onlevel of milk production i.e., 3, 6, 9 and 12 lit/day andweighing450 kg at different levels of availability of green fodderper day(High, moderate and low). This is a guideline for threefeedingsituation. High green ration for those farmer can provide 35kg oreven more green fodder per day per animal. The second oneismoderate green option is for the farmer who can provide 15 kg to20kg of green fodder and third option is less green duringscarcityperiod in which farmer can provide 2-5 kg of green fodder.Thiscalculated for crossbred cattle and indian buffaloes.
