Avaz for Autism is an award-winning,research-based Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) appfor children with speech difficulties (having Autism, intellectualchallenges etc.). Avaz runs on Android-based tablets and phones*.It has a powerful keyboard, uses picture symbols and high-qualityvoice synthesis, to help users communicate and also developlanguage skills.
Avaz-India Edition comes with an Indian accented voice and includesculture-appropriate vocabulary related to food (e.g. poori, dal,idli ...), festivals (e.g. Diwali, Holi..), etc. The vocabulary isavailable in English and six Indian languages (Hindi, Kannada,Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu), all available in the sameapp.
