Dans la chkobba, on ne peut jouer qu'une seulecarte à la fois. Le but est de ramasser le plus de cartespossibles, tout en ayant à l'esprit que chaque carte a sa valeurpropre, soit en ce qui concerne sa valeur pendant le jeu (un àdix), soit en ce qui concerne la sienne dans le décomptefinal.
Profil des cartes[modifier]
Le jeu est constitué de quarante cartes qui comporte dix cartespour chacune des quatre enseignes traditionnelles : pique, cœur,carreau (appelé ديناري dīnārī, de l'italien denari) et trèfle. Lescartes sont numérotées de 1 à 7 et sont complétées par troisfigures : la dame ayant la valeur 8, le valet ayant la valeur 9 etle roi ayant la valeur 10. Les cartes numérotées ont la valeur dunombre qu'elles portent.
Chaque valeur porte un nom particulier à l'étymologie française,espagnole, italienne ou arabe. Le 1 se nomme لص laṣ (du français «l'As »), le 2 دو dū, le 3 تريس trīs, le 4 كواترو kwātrū, le 5 شينكوšīnkū, le 6 سيس sīs, le 7 سبعة sabʿa (de l'arabe), la dame مجيرةmujīra (de l'espagnol mujer signifiant « dame »), le valet كوّالkawwāl (de l'espagnol caballo signifiant « cheval »), et le roi ريّrayy (de l'espagnol rey signifiant « roi »). De plus, le 7 decarreau, souvent considéré comme étant la carte la plus importantede toutes, possède son propre nom : سبعة الحيّة sabʿa l-ḥayya ou «7 vivant », ou plus simplement الحيّة al-ḥayya ou « la vivante».

In Chkobba, you can playone card at a time. The goal is to collect as many cards aspossible while keeping in mind that each card has its own, or interms of its value during the game (one to ten), or value inrelation to his the final tally.
Profile cards [edit]
The game consists of forty cards which includes ten cards for eachof the four traditional brands: spades, heart, diamond (calledديناري dinari, Italian denari) and clover. The cards are numberedfrom 1 to 7 and are complemented by three figures: the lady withthe value 8, the valet with the value 9 and the king having thevalue 10. The numbered cards have the value of the number theycarry.
Each value has a special name to the etymology French, Spanish,Italian and Arabic. The one is called Las لص (the French "Ace"),the two دو due 3 تريس Tris, 4 كواترو kwātrū the شينكو Sinku 5, 6سيس SIS 7 سبعة sab ʿ a (the Arabic ), the مجيرة mujīra lady(Spanish mujer means "lady"), the valet kawwāl كوال (Spanishcaballo meaning "horse"), and the king ري rayy (Spanish rey meaning"king") . In addition, seven of diamonds, often considered the mostimportant map of all, has its own name: سبعة الحية sab ʿ a l-Hayyaor "7 living", or simply الحية al-Hayya or "alive."
