Met meer dan 238.000 leden is de KoninklijkeNederlandse Hockey Bond (KNHB) één van de grootste sportbonden vaneen Nederland. Wekelijks speelt dan ook een groot aantal leden vandeze bond een uitwedstrijd. Speciaal voor hen is de appzoekHockeyclub ontwikkeld waarmee alle hockeyclubs in Nederland tevinden zijn.
Eerder was al zoekVoetbalclub in GooglePlay te vinden.

Met de app zoekHockeyclub kan eenvoudig genavigeerd worden naarhockeyclubs in Nederland. Via twee zoekingangen (op naam hockeycluben op plaatsnaam) kan eenvoudig worden gezocht waar een club isgesitueerd. Behalve adresgegevens wordt binnen een kaart de ligginggetoond van desbetreffende club.
Bij de informatie van de gevonden hockeyclub staan verder driebutton met de volgende functionaliteiten:
- site van hockeyclub bezoeken
- routenavigatie naar hockeyclub
- bellen naar hockeyclub
Verder kan op basis van de huidige GPS-locatie worden bepaald welkehockeyclubs (op dat moment) in de buurt liggen.
Kleuren van het clubtenue worden weergegegeven. Dit kan handig zijnom te weten of jouw team in het uittenue moet spelen.

Functies:
- Zoek op naam hockeyclub.
- Zoek naar hockeyclub op plaatsnaam.
- Binnen een GoogleMaps-kaart wordt aangegeven waar de hockeyclubis gesitueerd.
- Routenavigatie naar hockeyclub met Googlemaps.
- Huidige locatie wordt weergegeven op basis van deGPS-coördinaten. De dichtstbijzijnde hockeyclubs worden binnen dekaart getoond. Direct naar gegevens van de nabijgelegenhockeyclubs
- Met één klik wordt de site van de hockeyclub geopend binnen debrowser
- Met één klik direct telefoonnummer bellen vanuit gepresenteerdeclubgegevens
