osCommerce openCart Catalog is a Android Application thatallowsto browse web shops based in osCommerce and openCartecommerceshops using the native Android interface.

If you only want to browse the catalog of some stores/shopsthatalready have this system, just install the app and browsethem.

If you like the concept but the app its bad and could bebetter,please let us know about your sugestions.

ONLY FOR SHOP OWNERS

In order to get information about your products, categoriesandother catalog data, you need to install a software package inyourwebserver.

So you need to download it from our site, and uploadandconfigure it in your webserver, before anyone can use this apptoview your catalog.

It is secure to use, as it doesnt mess with your system.
In general the software does not write in your catalog tablesorfile system.

The exception its the opencart as it uses the settings tableasany other module, and create image thumbs in the cache folder,sothe integration its a litle bit more than theoscommerceversion.

Know problems:

The charcter encoding of some html entities, and some nonascistandart charcters may break the app flow.

To solve this we need to colect information aboutproblematicinstalations to organize a new version that allows theselection ofthe correct charcter encoding for mostenvironments.
