一ノ瀬双葉、萌咲いちご、小花鈴。3人はそれぞれに事情と夢を抱いて、業界に飛び込んできた新人女性声優。彼女らは偶然、共演する事になった事をきっかけとして交流が始まり、友情を深めていく。彼女らは、時に声優業界の厳しい現実を目の当たりにし、友情を壊しかけ、潰されそうになりながらも、互いを思いやり励まして少しずつではあるが成長を遂げて行く。そんな中、3人が出会うきっかけとなったアニメを担当した海原プロデューサーが、彼女らを呼び出して声優ユニット「イヤホンズ」を結成すると叫びだした。声優としては、ほとんど知名度の無い3人の新人たち。そんな彼女たちのユニット活動を待つのはいかなる結果か。そのあいだにも3人の日常を襲う種々の困難、悩みや迷い、戸惑い。それでも彼女たちは「それが声優！」を合言葉に前の見えないともすれば絶望的にもなる現実をムリヤリにでも突き進んでいく。
